Or You Can Just Take Exciting Race Photos

A great guy who came and helped in my pit as the fuelman, also took this photos. He calls photography his jobby. Which is a term I like. My writing is a jobby. I get paid. Sometimes.

You can check out more of his stuff at Cooper Naitove.

Is two better than one?

OK, coming up with 'concepts' (OMG I need to stop using advertising words all the time) for my personal holiday car with my wife, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try out something. Who doesn't wish they had a twin?

The fun. The pranks. The games. The built in best friend without the trouble Cheng and Eng had to stick with. It would be great. So...

Too bad my photographic double didn't enjoy doing some of my work,

Craigslist Gem

Okay. I know getting cars for photoshoots can be difficult, but you need to do more than beg.

The promise of seeing my car on a fashion website is not all that appealing. Or is it? Is there a scantily clad woman draped across my freshly Zymoled hood? If so, that may change things. Or it might not.

And beggars can't be choosers. Notice he only wants newer Ferraris, Porches(sic) and Lamborghinis. So if you have a Miura, don't bother calling.

911SC photos

Some nice weather inspired me to go out and practice shooting some motion blur shots so the next time I do an article I can set them up quickly. Makes the car look like we were going around 80MPH when it was actually going about 2MPH. Ahh, the effects of long exposure. And if you want all the info you can handle on photos check out kenrockwell.com He is a wealth of tips for the beginner or pro alike.
