Veggie Power
Or, at least we hope.
Spent the last few weeks building a new garden while the 901 was in the shop getting ready for the new season with a fresh alignment and exhaust.
Hopefully we get some great veg this summer. But at least it looks appropriate even if we get shut out. And, why so big? Anyone who lives in country-ish New England knows the deer can jump rather high.
For those who care about such things, it is 6x6 main posts. 4x4 trim. Copper caps. Cedar and timber raised beds filled with garden compost from Grillo's. And a custom gate with hammered hardware.

Moo Welcome
The basement of our home still has the troughs and pens from being a dairy barn. And the exterior is still all barn.
Wanted to pay a bit of homage to that with a piece that brightened the wall on the stairs to the basement. Which also happens to be the first wall you see when you walk in the house.
Thanks to magicmurals.com we located a delightful vintage ad looking piece in a wall decal.
I framed it out with barn siding. And we quickly have a piece that looks like it has been there for ages.

Bar. Update.
There is one thing every aspiring writer requires.
A well-stocked bar.
Check.
I went for a New Orleans Bordello look. You might want to go for something a bit more sedate.

I rise, like Brett Favre, from the bench and return to my original blog.
Yes, Yes, all you followers. You mighty few. I will again regale you with stories of how to waste money on cars. How to improve your automotive fashion. And I just might expand a bit into the 'Fairfield County Lifestyle' arena. Just to poke fun at it.
Quick recap. Moved back East. Built a car barn. Restoring a barn-house. Oh, and bought a vintage race car after selling the 944 SPEC.
Attached find romantic image of barn under construction.
